Pumice and Rottenstone are used for the final rub on finishes. Start with a coarse grade then progress to finer grits. Rottenstone is used for the final rub. Use both Rottenstone and Pumice with a medium such as oil or water for best results.
Tip: For very old rosin buildup, try FFFF Pumice then Rottenstone.

One of the finest substances used in wood finishing. Primarily used to polish a laquered or varnished surface after using extra fine Pumice.
