Fretwire is available in different crown heights. After normal installation and leveling, they can lose anywhere from .005 to .010 in height. High Fretwire has a crown height of .045 or more. It offers more sustain, and more redressing between repairs. Low fret wire height is very nice for partial refretting.
For Electric or Bass. Slightly taller than old Gibson jumbo wire; for leveling new frets and still having the jumbo feel.
